In May, the book “Henry David Thoreau and the Nick of Time” was published. It is the result of a conference by Snorrastofa and The Thoreau Society in Reykholt in the spring of 2022, which discussed Thoreau, this remarkable American writer and philosopher, and how he considered the concept of time in the broadest sense. There were two seminars and fifty scholars from ten countries attended . It should be noted that Thoreau was very interested in the writings of Snorri Sturluson and his time, the Middle Ages. Kathryn C. Dolan, John J. Kucich and Henrik Otterberg edited the work and it was published by Mercer University Press.
